Notary

Our client, a renowned chartered professional accounting firm located in Montreal, is actively seeking a notary who will practise under the firm's banner, providing notarial services and contributing to the firm's success.

Your role:

  • Structure new service offerings (work tools, budget, compliance);
  • Meet with, advise and support clients;
  • Prepare wills;
  • Execute corporate mandates (draft legal contracts);
  • Update minute books and the company registry;
  • Incorporation;
  • Execute any other mandates within the professional's field of expertise;
  • Work in collaboration with the tax department on various mandates;
  • Keep knowledge up to date and stay abreast of legislative changes.

Skills:

  • Member of the Chamber of Notaries;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the above-mentioned fields of expertise;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;
  • Strategic vision and commitment to the organisation's values and mission;
  • Excellent management of priorities, deadlines and time;
  • Autonomy and sense of work organisation;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Motivation and interest in developing the new service.
