Notary
Our client, a renowned chartered professional accounting firm located in Montreal, is actively seeking a notary who will practise under the firm's banner, providing notarial services and contributing to the firm's success.
Your role:
- Structure new service offerings (work tools, budget, compliance);
- Meet with, advise and support clients;
- Prepare wills;
- Execute corporate mandates (draft legal contracts);
- Update minute books and the company registry;
- Incorporation;
- Execute any other mandates within the professional's field of expertise;
- Work in collaboration with the tax department on various mandates;
- Keep knowledge up to date and stay abreast of legislative changes.
Skills:
- Member of the Chamber of Notaries;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the above-mentioned fields of expertise;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;
- Strategic vision and commitment to the organisation's values and mission;
- Excellent management of priorities, deadlines and time;
- Autonomy and sense of work organisation;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Motivation and interest in developing the new service.
